It's really pretty hard to describe the emotions I feel when I think about my little sister getting married. Yes, she and Stephen are perfect for one another. Yes, she is mature enough; emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally... she's ready. It was during this photo shoot that I realized it. But no one ever asks the big sister if SHE'S ready. No! I wasn't ready at all. I was completely unprepared, and will probably never BE fully prepared, for September 5, 2009.
Why?
...I wish you could see the blinking cursor flashing in front of my bewildered eyes right now. All I really know is that yesterday... I was crawling over her pink crib rails to introduce her to her little thumb, and show her how to suck away those tears. Thousands of dollars in braces later, she's this beautiful ostrich of a person, heavily weighed down by "three tons" of diamonds on her left hand.
What am I trying to say? ... Dang cursor anyway. :)
15 years ago I was taking Sidnee out to teach her how to ride a bike and last week, I took her out to shoot her bridals for her wedding.
Same emotions... different day.

Holy Cow Mallory! As I was looking at these pics, I seriously thought I was looking at pics from a bridal mag. That was what came to mind. Such brilliance and beautiful bride to be. You are going to take the photography world by storm girl.
